OAO3 is the electronic music of Donovan Corey Lyons, having evolved steadily since about the time religious extremism gave our leaders the excuse they needed to secure more oil reserves (= 2001). I also really hate writing self-important band bios, so I won't bore with all that here. Hopefully the music can speak for itself. Most of the music you will hear has been performed and recorded live, in real-time with no post-production other than EQ and mastering. No laptops, just live generated and manipulated electronic noise (the exceptions being Other Songs 2003-2005 and Siaynoq). Each song is merely a theme that is built upon and played around during the live performance, so nothing is ever played the same way twice. Often new songs happen on the fly, never to be heard or played again. Those moments are what it's all about.
